Our location
We are located on a high ridge around two miles west of Cardiff, Wales. This elevated, semi-rural location allows for accurate measurements outside of the urban heat island.
Since the start of 2026, the Belgian Climate Centre has collected our data alongside thousands of observations from elsewhere in Europe.
Prior to this change, we fed into the UK Met Office's network of 1700 hyperlocal stations, which are being phased out in favour of their own official 405 sites.
