I’m Benjamin Raisanen. I’ve been interested in geography from a young age and started St Nicholas Weather in 2021 as a hobby to observe the weather. Most data is collected automatically, and is available on the Met Office website.
The sensor suite includes a piezoelectric rain gauge, an ultrasonic anemometer, a thermometer, a hygrometer, a solar panel and a PM2.5 air quality sensor.
